Find, screen and group the papers your argument actually needs
Stage 2 runs as four steps: find and screen, read, synthesise, then plan and write.
What it does
- Include or reject, with the reason - Every search result is screened and the decision is kept on the record.
- A reading queue that counts - Papers read, themes named and gaps identified, counted as you go.
- Quotes saved against their source - Saved quotes become themes, and the review is drafted from the themes.
Where it fits
The screening trail and the saved quotes are the review section before it is written, and the gap you name here becomes the framing for the discussion several stages later.
