Content and Documents You Upload

When you use Lectimax, you may upload academic materials such as course outlines, assignments, rubrics, theses, lesson plans, and related files.

Important: We process uploaded content only to provide the features you select. Your content is kept private, is not sold, and is not used to train AI models. You retain ownership of your uploads. Necessary service providers may process content on our behalf only as needed to operate the selected feature.

Automatically Collected Information

When you access the Service, we automatically collect certain technical and usage information, including:

Log data: IP address (stored in hashed form for analytics and security), browser type, operating system, access times, and pages viewed
Usage data: Features used, interaction patterns, and session duration
Device information: Device type, browser, and operating system (derived from your browser where applicable)
Performance and security data: Error logs and signals used to detect abuse

AI Interaction Data

AI-generated outputs (lesson plans, rubrics, grading feedback, project briefs, and similar results)

Optional Calendar Integration

If you connect Google Calendar, we process OAuth tokens and calendar metadata needed to provide that integration. You can disconnect the integration at any time.

This basic tier uses short-lived session identifiers that do not persist across browser sessions in the same way as optional analytics.

If you Accept optional analytics in our cookie notice, we may also collect:

A returning-visitor identifier stored in your browser
Account-linked visit data when you are signed in
Referrer and campaign parameters (UTM)
Screen size and language preference
Finer location detail where available

If you Decline, we continue basic visit metrics only and do not collect this enrichment data.

Academic Integrity and Confidentiality

We understand the sensitive nature of academic materials:

Student work: Uploaded assignments and papers are treated confidentially.
No cross-contamination: Your documents are not used to inform AI responses for other users.
No training data: Uploaded content is not used to train or improve AI models.
Scoped access: Access is limited to your account, authorized collaborators, institutional administrators where applicable, and providers needed to operate the Service.

Children

The Service is for users aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a person under 16 has provided us with personal information, contact info@lectimax.com and we will delete it.

Data Breaches

If we become aware of a personal data breach that is likely to pose a high risk to your rights, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities as required by applicable law, without undue delay.
